According to the regulations of the Ministry of Science and Technology, products classified as Hand-held luminaires under QCVN 19:2019/BKHCN must undergo procedures for Testing, Certification of Conformity, and/or Declaration of Conformity, and must be labeled with the conformity mark before being placed on the market.

1. What are hand-held luminaires?
Hand-held luminaires are luminaires with a handle and a flexible cable or cord, designed to be moved frequently while connected to the supply.
2. What is the scope of application for Hand-held luminaires under QCVN 19:2019/BKHCN?
Hand-held luminaires and similar portable luminaires that can be held in the hand, hung, or placed on a surface, for use with electric light sources with a supply voltage not exceeding 250 V.
Hand-held luminaires that can be fixed to a support by thumb screws, clips, or magnets, and luminaires used for the inspection of the interior of vessels (drums), are also within the scope of this standard.
