Phuc Gia Laboratory Corporation – Phuc Gia Laboratory for short (PGL) is an Electrical – Electronic Testing Laboratory that Ministries, and Departments selected to carry out quality testing of imported and exported goods for the state management.

2. FUNCTION – MISSION
Phuc Gia Laboratory Corporation provides engineering services in the fields of standards, metrology and quality towards the requirements of the State management on standards, metrology and quality, and provides other services at the request of organizations and individuals.
3. BUSINESS LINES
- Phuc Gia Laboratory Corporation specializes in providing engineering services in the fields of Standards, Metrology and Quality towards the requirements of the State management by the Ministries, and Departments, and technical requirements of organizations and enterprise, thereby improving the quality and safety of products and protecting the interests of consumers such as Product safety and quality testing.
- Phuc Gia Laboratory Corporation always pays attention to updating, upgrading and perfecting the system of laboratories toward the supply of high-quality product testing and analysis services with high reliability that are able to meet the strictest conditions of applicable standards, and suitable for capacity and test environment in most fields:
+ Energy performance: Home and office appliances;
+ Electrical Safety for Telecommunications and Information Technology Terminal Equipment;
+ Safety with Lithium Battery;
+ Electrical safety: Electrical – Electronic devices;
+ Electromagnetic compatibility: Electrical – Electronic devices;
+ Photobiological Safety, etc.
With multiple years of experience in development, the capacity of Phuc Gia Laboratory so far has been reinforced and recognized as:
- The qualified laboratory according to ISO/IEC 17025:2017 standards of all 3 accreditation agencies such as BoA, AOSC, and VACI.
- The laboratory’s capacity is assessed and accredited by 03 ministries: the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Ministry of Information and Communication, and the Ministry of Science and Technology;
- An official member of Vietnam Association of Testing Laboratories (Vinalab);
- A Member of Vietnam Lighting Association;
- The first laboratory with a Bio-Optical Measurement System in Vietnam;
- The experimental testing unit selected by various Vietnam Standards Study Committee
- Phuc Gia is one of the very few Certification Authority have enough testing capacity to serve the quality assessment of the goods.
4. QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
The quality management system of Phuc Gia Inspection Testing Center (Phuc Gia Lab) is consistent with the ISO/IEC 17025:2017 standard with the accredited management system for each specific business line.
- On April 22nd, 2019, Phuc Gia Laboratory was issued a certificate according to ISO/IEC 17025:2017 by the Bureau of Accreditation (BOA) – Ministry of Science and Technology, with the number VILAS 1212.
- Updating and expanding the scope of accreditation, on May 11th, 2022, Phuc Gia Laboratory was accredited according to ISO/IEC 17025:2017 by the Vietnam Accreditation Office (BOA) – Ministry of Science and Technology Technology issued with VILAS 1212 under Decision No. 450.2022/QD-VPCNCL.
- On August 18th, 2020, Phuc Gia Laboratory was issued a certificate according to ISO/IEC 17025:2017 by the Vietnam Accreditation Institute (VACI) with the number VALAS 09
- On September 6th, 2021, Phuc Gia Laboratory was issued a certificate according to ISO/IEC 17025:2017 by the Accreditation Office for Standards Conformity (AOSC) with the number VLAT 1.0388
The quality management system of Phuc Gia Certification Center (Phuc Gia Cert) is consistent with the ISO/IEC 17065:2012 standard on the basis of each field of activity.
