Air Conditioner Certificate According to QCVN 9:2012/BKHCN in Vietnam

Phuc Gia Laboratory Corporation (Phuc Gia®) issues the Air Conditioner Certificate according to QCVN 09:2012/BKHCN to units and enterprises importing and manufacturing this equipment in the Vietnam market. This is one of the products for which Phuc Gia® has been designated by the Ministry of Science and Technology to certify according to QCVN 9:2012/BKHCN.

1. Scope of Application

Air conditioners used in households, consisting of a motor-driven fan and components that change temperature and humidity (with a current limit of no more than 25A), must undergo testing and conformity certification for electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) according to QCVN 9:2012/BKHCN.

2. Certification Method

Based on QCVN 9:2012/BKHCN, air conditioners must undergo conformity certification according to Method 1 – Testing of typical samples of products and goods to conclude on conformity.

Note:

The conclusion on conformity is valid for the specific style and type of products and goods that have been sampled for testing.
The conformity certificate according to Method 1 is valid for no more than 3 years from the date of issue.
Conformity certification is performed by a designated or recognized certification body.

The conformity mark must comply with Clause 2, Article 4 of the “Regulations on standard conformity certification, regulation conformity certification and standard conformity declaration, regulation conformity declaration” issued together with Decision No. 24/2007/QD-BKHCN dated September 28, 2007, by the Minister of Science and Technology.
