Decision 798/QĐ-BKHCN on the Designation of a Conformity Assessment Body

On February 03, 2026, the Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST) designated Phuc Gia Laboratory Corporation to perform testing activities for handheld and body-worn radio devices according to QCVN 134:2024/BTTTT under Decision 798/QĐ-BKHCN.

Accordingly, Phuc Gia® is designated by the Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST) to conduct testing of information technology and telecommunications products according to the corresponding national technical regulations (The designated scope is according to the Appendix attached to this Decision):

Decision 798/QĐ-BKHCN is effective until September 25, 2030, from the date of signing.

Phuc Gia Laboratory Corporation is responsible for performing testing to serve state management upon request and must comply with the regulations and instructions of competent state agencies and take full responsibility for the conformity assessment results performed by the unit.

Phuc Gia®’s SAR Laboratory has invested in the Dasy8 system – one of the world’s leading advanced technologies today. The system allows for Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) measurements for handheld and body-worn radio devices in the frequency range from 650 MHz to 6 GHz, with high accuracy, fast sampling speed, and stable operation, meeting the requirements for evaluating complex technologies such as 5G NR and MIMO, etc.

In particular, to serve the research and testing of QCVN 134:2024/BTTTT, the Phuc Gia Research and Development Center under Phuc Gia Laboratory Corporation has researched and completed the translation BD01:2025/PGL – a technical document providing guidance on terminology, requirements, and testing techniques for SAR assessment from the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC).

This is a complete and unique translation, developed to serve training, research, and standardization of testing procedures, serving as an important basis for Phuc Gia®’s experts and engineers to master the requirements and testing techniques according to QCVN 134:2024/BTTTT as well as standardization according to the international standard IEC/IEEE 62209-1528:2020.

The combination of the technical team’s professional capacity and the modern testing system helps Phuc Gia® perform and provide testing results with high reliability, consistent with the requirements of the National Technical Regulation QCVN 134:2024/BTTTT and the international standard IEC/IEEE 62209-1528:2020.
