Decision No. 2117/QĐ-TĐC on the Designation of Testing Organizations

On December 13, 2022, the Directorate for Standards, Metrology and Quality – Ministry of Science and Technology issued Designation Decision No. 2117/QĐ-TĐC, designating Phuc Gia Laboratory Corporation as a Testing Organization in Vietnam to perform testing of technical criteria for electrical safety and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) for LED lighting products in accordance with national technical regulation QCVN 19:2019/BKHCN and current legal regulations related to product and goods quality management.

According to Decision No. 2117/QĐ-TĐC, Phuc Gia Laboratory Corporation is designated by the Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST) for technical criteria regarding LED lighting products in accordance with national technical regulation QCVN 19:2019/BKHCN and current legal regulations related to product and goods quality management (The list of products, goods, and tests, and corresponding applied technical standards for designated testing are specified in the Appendix attached to this Decision).

Electrical safety: Fixed general-purpose luminaires (surface-mounted – recessed), Portable general-purpose luminaires, Self-ballasted LED lamps for general lighting services operating at voltages greater than 50V, Double-capped LED lamps designed to replace linear fluorescent lamps;
Photobiological safety: Lamps and lamp systems;
Electromagnetic Interference (EMI): LED lamps/ Self-ballasted lamps and lighting devices;
Electromagnetic Immunity (EMS): General lighting equipment.
