The MOST Designates Phuc Gia® as a LED Light Testing Organization According to QCVN 19:2019/BKHCN (No. 1951/QĐ-TĐC)

On October 28, 2021, the Directorate for Standards, Metrology and Quality – Ministry of Science and Technology issued a Decision designating Phuc Gia Lab as a Testing Organization to perform testing of technical criteria for electrical safety and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) for LED technology lighting products in accordance with national technical regulation QCVN 19:2019/BKHCN and current legal regulations related to product and goods quality management under Decision No. 1951/QĐ-TĐC, for the following tests:

Electrical safety: Fixed general-purpose luminaires (surface-mounted – recessed), Portable general-purpose luminaires, Self-ballasted LED lamps for general lighting services operating at voltages greater than 50V, Double-capped LED lamps designed to replace linear fluorescent lamps;

Photobiological safety: Irradiance measurement (broadband irradiance and spectral irradiance), Radiance measurement (broadband radiance and spectral radiance), Blue light hazard for light sources and lamps;

Electromagnetic Compatibility: LED lamps and lighting equipment;

Electromagnetic Immunity: General lighting equipment.
