The electric kettle is a highly common and essential household appliance, providing rapid boiling for daily domestic use. Today’s market features a wide array of products varying in capacity, material, power, and advanced safety features like auto-shutoff, boil-dry protection, and precise temperature control. Given their high power consumption and operation with both electricity and water, this product diversity necessitates rigorous compliance with the Legal Regulations for Electric Kettles in Vietnam, placing strict demands on manufacturers and importers.

1. What is an Electric Kettle?
The electric kettle (super-speed kettle) is a fundamental household appliance known for its ability to rapidly boil water for daily convenience. Its core components typically include a high-power heating element, a water chamber, a lid, and a control system. Given the high-energy operation involving both electricity and water, modern kettles, supplied by popular brands like Sunhouse, Kangaroo, Midea, and Philips, are critical focal points under the Legal Regulations for Electric Kettles in Vietnam.
These contemporary models often integrate enhanced safety mechanisms, such as anti-spill sensors, boil-dry protection, and automatic shut-off systems upon reaching boiling point. These features are essential for ensuring both electrical safety and extending the lifespan of the device. Consequently, products from every listed brand, including Toshiba, Bluestone, Goldsun, Electrolux, Lock&Lock, and Panasonic, must strictly adhere to the mandatory safety and performance requirements dictated by the current legal framework.

The broad diversity in product design, power capacity, and functionality not only caters to consumer demand but also imposes a critical mandate on enterprises: ensuring rigorous electrical safety and quality control. Full adherence to the Legal Regulations for Electric Kettles in Vietnam is thus an essential prerequisite that must be completed before any manufacturing, import, or market circulation is permitted.
