According to the regulations of the Ministry of Science and Technology, products classified as Recessed luminaires under QCVN 19:2019/BKHCN must undergo procedures for Testing, Certification of Conformity, and/or Declaration of Conformity, and must be labeled with the conformity mark before being placed on the market.

Regulations regarding lamp classification, scope of application, or lamps excluded from the scope for Recessed luminaires will be provided and clarified by Phuc Gia Testing Laboratory in the article below.

1. What are recessed luminaires?

Luminaires designed by the manufacturer to be fully or partially recessed into a mounting surface.

Note: This term applies both to luminaires for operation in a closed cavity and to luminaires for mounting through a surface such as a suspended ceiling.

2. What is the scope of application for Recessed luminaires under QCVN 19:2019/BKHCN?

Standard for recessed luminaires for use with tungsten filament lamps, tubular fluorescent lamps, and other discharge lamps with supply voltages not exceeding 1000 V.
