Phuc Gia Laboratory Corporation (Phuc Gia®) is a large-scale testing – certification organization in Vietnam, designated by Ministries and Departments to perform conformity assessment activities for State management and domestic and international corporations manufacturing electrical – electronic household appliances, office equipment, telecommunications, and information technology.

2. Job Description for the Evaluation Specialist position at Phuc Gia®

Carry out and participate in certification evaluation activities according to assigned tasks and under the direction of the Head of Department;
Research, develop, and expand the capacity to perform certification evaluations related to the functional areas and tasks of the assigned unit;
Participate in compiling, amending, and supplementing regulations, procedures, and instructions for certification activities related to the assigned field and under the direction of the Head of Department;
Regularly participate in training courses, conference programs, and specialized workshops related to quality management systems and conformity certification activities to improve professional capacity;
Synthesize, report, advise, and propose relevant content to continue promoting and improving the activities of the working unit;
Perform other professional tasks as assigned by the Head of Department.

3. Professional Description for the Evaluation Specialist position

3.1. Perform under the direct direction and task assignment of the Head or Deputy Head of the department in charge:

Perform evaluations according to programs, plans, procedures, and regulations related to conformity certification and standard certification for products, goods, and services in the fields of construction materials, electrical-electronics, mechanics, metallurgy, textiles, heat, light, consumer goods… specified in the functions and tasks of the unit;
Research, develop, and expand the capacity to perform conformity certification related to the functional areas and tasks of the assigned unit;
Lead or participate in initiatives such as technical solutions, management solutions, operational solutions, or solutions for applying technical progress to increase labor productivity and work efficiency;
Advise and propose to Department Leaders on issues related to the professional field of the unit.

3.2. Participate in or lead the construction of regulations and instructions related to certification activities:

Participate in building dossiers related to maintaining the Integrated Management System as assigned;
Participate in compiling, amending, and supplementing regulations, procedures, and instructions related to certification activities in the professional field according to the unit’s assigned position.

3.3. Participate in training and guidance on certification evaluation activities:

Participate in training and be granted international training certificates related to quality management systems and certification activities such as ISO 9001, ISO/IEC 17065…;
Participate in training and be granted training certificates related to conformity certification activities issued by specialized management agencies.

4. Competency Requirements for the Evaluation Specialist position at Phuc Gia®

Graduated from University majoring in Electrical–Electronic engineering, Electronics and Telecommunications, Heat, Optics, or related fields;
Priority is given to those with work experience in the field of conformity assessment;
Priority is given to those with experience in evaluating product certification and quality management systems;
Loyal, trusting, and seriously complying with agency regulations;
High sense of responsibility towards work and the collective;
Ability to be creative, work independently, and work in groups;
Ability to present, communicate, and handle situations;
Ability to conduct deep research on the specialty in the professional field.

5. Salary and Compensation for the Evaluation Specialist position at Phuc Gia®

Salary negotiated according to ability and experience (specifically discussed during the interview process);
