Established on July 15, 2016, Phuc Gia® is a large-scale testing and certification organization in Vietnam, designated by Ministries, Departments, and Agencies to perform conformity assessment activities serving State management and domestic and international manufacturing corporations of household, office, telecommunications, and information technology electrical and electronic equipment.

Along with the expansion of the Company’s operational scale in the field of Cybersecurity, we are looking for suitable candidates for the position of Security Engineer, according to the following information:

2. Job Description for the Security Engineer position at Phuc Gia®

Measure and test technical testing indicators on IP Cameras, IoT devices, information technology equipment, telecommunications equipment, telecommunications networks, etc., to assess the ability to meet information security standards according to the regulations of the managing Ministry;
Research, develop procedures, and operate testing for new regulations on information safety and security according to the regulations issued by the Ministry.

3. Professional Description for the Security Engineer position at Phuc Gia®

3.1. Perform Assessment and Penetration Testing:

Measure and test technical testing indicators on IP Cameras, IoT devices, information technology equipment, telecommunications equipment, telecommunications networks, etc.;
Perform comprehensive security assessments on components: Terminals (Hardware), Control software (Firmware), Management interfaces (Web/Mobile App), and connection infrastructure (Cloud/API);
Use simulated attack techniques to test the system’s resilience against unauthorized intrusion scenarios, hijacking, or data theft;
Check the integrity of communication channels, ensuring data is safely protected between the device and the end user.

3.2. Vulnerability Analysis and Risk Management:

Operate automated scanning systems and perform manual analysis to detect potential weaknesses on the system;
Classify the severity of vulnerabilities based on international assessment frameworks (such as CVSS) and compare them with the minimum technical requirements of Regulatory Authorities;
Propose specific technical solutions (patching, configuration changes, encryption upgrades) to eliminate identified risks if possible.

3.3. Develop Procedures and Technical Documentation:

Design and maintain a set of sample Test Cases to standardize the assessment process for all company product lines;
Construct detailed technical reports after testing.

3.4. Research and Technology Updates:

Continuously update new attack techniques and security trends for IoT devices worldwide;
Research the latest regulations and legal documents related to information security standards in Vietnam to adjust testing activities timely.

4. Competency Requirements for the Security Engineer position at Phuc Gia®

University graduate majoring in Information Technology, Information Security, or related fields;
Priority for candidates with international certificates such as: Security+, CEH, CISSP, or OSCP;
Deep understanding of networks (TCP/IP), Firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPN;
Experience using security tools: Wireshark, Nessus, Burp Suite, Splunk;
Know at least one programming/scripting language (Python, Bash, PowerShell) to automate work;
Priority for candidates with knowledge of AI Security and anti-Deepfake;
Critical thinking and problem-solving ability under high pressure;
Clear and easy-to-understand technical report writing skills;
High professional ethics and absolute confidentiality.

5. Salary, Compensation and Benefits

Salary negotiated based on capacity and experience (Salary ranges from 10 million to 40 million, to be discussed specifically during the interview);

7. Working Hours

Monday – Friday:

Morning: 08:00 – 11:45;
Afternoon: 13:30 – 18:30.

Saturday:

Morning: 08:00 – 12:00.
