Established on July 15, 2016, Phuc Gia® is a large-scale testing and certification organization in Vietnam, designated by Ministries, Departments, and Agencies to perform conformity assessment activities serving State management and domestic and international manufacturing corporations of household, office, telecommunications, and information technology electrical and electronic equipment.

With the orientation of developing and expanding the Company’s operational scale in the coming period, aimed at improving the quality of services provided to customers, we are currently looking to recruit additional personnel for the position of Test Engineer, with recruitment information as follows:

2. Job Description for the Test Engineer position at Phuc Gia®

Perform testing on Electrical Safety (ES)/ Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC)/ Radio Frequency (RF)/ Energy Efficiency (EE) for electrical, electronic, and household appliances (Televisions, refrigerators, air conditioners, LED lamps, electric fans, water heaters, microwaves…); telecommunications and information technology equipment (computers, mobile phones, Wifi devices…);
Research and develop new testing methods;
Research new standards and technical regulations;
Compile testing procedures and provide training for technicians;
Consult and answer customer inquiries related to product techniques;
Perform other professional tasks as assigned by the Department Head.

3. Competency Requirements for the Test Engineer position at Phuc Gia®

Graduate from a full-time university (concentrated study for 08 semesters or more);
Majors: Electronics and Telecommunications, Automation, Electrical – Electronics, Refrigeration and Thermal Engineering, Optics and Optoelectronics;
Graduation from Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City (Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology; University of Information Technology; International University) is an advantage;
Deep understanding of basic electronics such as Printed Circuit Boards (PCB), circuit diagrams, basic electronic components, basic electrical parameters, etc. Or have knowledge of electronics and telecommunications such as: radio waves, modulation techniques, mobile information systems, basic signal parameters, etc.;
Understand the operating principles of household appliances such as Televisions, Refrigerators, Washing Machines, Air Conditioners, Water Heaters, Electric Fans, Lamps, etc.;
Prior exposure to measurement equipment (power analyzers, DC sources, AC sources, signal generators, etc.) or working at electrical – electronic testing laboratories is an advantage;
Ability to use English or Chinese is an advantage (to be able to read and understand international standards as well as exchange testing information with manufacturing plants);
High sense of responsibility towards work, with the ability to research and develop;
Proficient in office information technology skills;
Ability to work independently and in teams; possess a good spirit of coordination in work;
Accepting new graduates or candidates without practical experience, who will be trained during the working process.

4. Salary, Compensation and Benefits for the Test Engineer position at Phuc Gia®

Income negotiated based on capacity and experience (Salary ranges from 10 million to 40 million, to be discussed specifically during the interview);
