The Ministry of Science and Technology Designates Phuc Gia Lab to Perform EMC Testing According to QCVN 9:2012/BKHCN

Phuc Gia Lab is officially designated by the Ministry of Science and Technology to conduct Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) testing for household electrical-electronic products and similar purposes according to QCVN 9:2012/BKHCN and Amendment 1:2018 QCVN 9:2012/BKHCN. Additionally, Phuc Gia is designated as a product certification body in accordance with national technical regulations and standards under Scheme 1, as per Certificate No. 3851/TĐC-HCHQ.

On July 16, 2021, the Directorate for Standards, Metrology and Quality (STAMEQ) – Ministry of Science and Technology issued the Registration Certificate for EMC testing activities for household electrical-electronic products and similar purposes according to QCVN 9:2012/BKHCN and Amendment 1:2018 QCVN 9:2012/BKHCN to Phuc Gia Laboratory, with the product list detailed in the appendix of Certificate No. 2242/TĐC-HCHQ.

On October 28, 2021, STAMEQ issued the Registration Certificate for EMC testing, adding multi-disciplinary testing activities in the electrical-electronic field for products and corresponding tests detailed in the appendix of Certificate No. 3206/TĐC-HCHQ.

On December 13, 2022, STAMEQ issued the Registration Certificate for testing activities to Phuc Gia Lab regarding additional registration for multi-disciplinary testing in the electrical-electronic field under Certificate No. 3617/TĐC-HCHQ.

Specifically, the certification covers multi-disciplinary testing in the electrical-electronic field for the following tests:

Electrical Safety: Fixed general-purpose luminaires (surface-mounted – recessed), Luminaires for road and street lighting, Portable general-purpose luminaires, Floodlights, Self-ballasted LED lamps for general lighting services > 50V, Double-capped LED lamps designed to replace linear fluorescent lamps;
Photobiological Safety: Lamps and lamp systems;
Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) for household electrical and electronic equipment and similar purposes using a 1-phase power supply, rated input current ≤ 32A: Hand-held electric motor-operated drills, Vacuum cleaners, Refrigerators and freezers, Air conditioners, Hair dryers, Blenders, meat grinders, juicers, egg beaters, Electric stoves (including induction hobs), Instantaneous water heaters, Washing machines/Clothes dryers, Microwave ovens (including combination types);
Electromagnetic Interference (EMI): LED luminaires/Self-ballasted lamps and lighting equipment.
Electromagnetic Immunity (EMS): General lighting equipment.

On December 30, 2022, the Directorate for Standards, Metrology and Quality (STAMEQ) – Ministry of Science and Technology issued the Registration Certificate for multi-disciplinary certification activities in the field of: Certification of products and goods in conformity with national standards and technical regulations under Scheme 1, as detailed in the appendix attached to Certificate No. 3851/TĐC-HCHQ.

Accordingly, Phuc Gia certifies products and goods in conformity with national standards and technical regulations under Scheme 1 for the following products:

Lighting equipment, Fixed general-purpose luminaires (surface-mounted – recessed), Luminaires for road and street lighting, Portable general-purpose luminaires, Floodlights, Self-ballasted LED lamps;
Double-capped LED lamps;
Instantaneous water heaters, Hand-held electric motor-operated drills, Vacuum cleaners, Washing machines/Clothes dryers, Refrigerators and freezers, Air conditioners, Hair dryers, Blenders, Meat grinders, Juicers, Egg beaters;
Electric stoves (including induction hobs);
Microwave ovens (including combination types);
Self-ballasted lamps and lighting equipment;
