The Signing Ceremony of the Cooperation Agreement Between Phuc Gia and KTR (Korea Testing and Research Institute)

On November 21, 2025, Phuc Gia Laboratory Corporation and the Korea Testing and Research Institute (KTR) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on cooperation and support for the development of testing, inspection, and certification services for the Vietnamese and Korean markets, as well as other countries.

Attending the signing ceremony, on behalf of Phuc Gia Laboratory Corporation, were Mr. Le Tuan Hieu (Chairman of the Board of Directors); Ms. Mai Thi Van (General Director); Mr. Le Manh Tien (Director of the Inspection Testing Center); Mr. Nguyen Phu Quoc (Director of the Certification Center); Mr. Nguyen Thai Binh (Director of the Calibration Center) and representatives of relevant departments.

On behalf of the Korea Testing and Research Institute, there were Mr. Kim Hyun Cheol (President of KTR); Mr. Changseok Jeong (General Manager of the International Business Division); Mr. Kim Tae Gun (Chief Secretary of KTR); Mr. Jinjae Park (Director of KTR Southeast Asia) and Ms. Ha Ngoc Anh (Director of KTR Vietnam).

The Korea Testing and Research Institute (KTR) is a reputable inspection and certification organization in South Korea, providing inspection, certification, technical consulting, and training services across various industrial sectors, from electronic devices, batteries, and construction materials to medical devices. KTR is recognized in accordance with many international and Korean accreditation models for testing and certification.

The signing ceremony of the cooperation agreement between Phuc Gia and KTR marks an important step forward in strengthening close cooperation between the two units, helping to promote the circulation of products and goods through testing and certification services in the Korean, Vietnamese, and other international markets.

At the signing ceremony, Mr. Kim Hyun Cheol (President of KTR) highly appreciated the cooperative relationship between Phuc Gia and KTR, expressing hope to implement specific cooperation projects as soon as possible. Simultaneously, he suggested that both parties continue researching to strengthen collaboration on new, topical subjects such as IoT products, AI, software testing, carbon neutrality, net zero, as well as new testing and certification fields.

In a spirit of consensus, Mr. Le Tuan Hieu (Chairman of Phuc Gia) also thanked KTR and President Kim Hyun Cheol for their support and cooperation. He affirmed that KTR is one of Phuc Gia’s most important strategic partners and expressed confidence that the coordination between the two parties will help enhance testing and certification capacity and promote quality standards for electrical and electronic products and equipment in the Vietnamese and Korean markets.
