Currently, there are 8 facilities designated for energy efficiency testing in Vietnam:

2. How to check whether facilities are designated by the Ministry of Industry and Trade for energy efficiency testing?
Designated facilities will have the following two characteristics:

The testing facility will be granted a Certificate of Registration for Energy Efficiency Testing Activities by the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MOIT).

For example, Certificate of Designation No. 15/GCN-BCT issued by the MOIT to Phuc Gia Testing Laboratory Joint Stock Company on January 6, 2023, covers the following products: Household washing machines; Electric rice cookers; Televisions; LED Lamps; Compact fluorescent lamps; Storage water heaters; Printers; Photocopiers; Computer monitors; Laptops, Tablets; Desktop computers; Tubular fluorescent lamps.

Furthermore, on April 20, 2023, Phuc Gia Laboratory Corporation continuously received the Certificate of Designation No. 986/GCN-BCT from the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MOIT), updating the newly tested products and the latest testing standards for products: Air conditioners, Chillers, Refrigerators and Freezers, Commercial Refrigerated Cabinets, Electric stoves, Induction cookers, Halogen/Infrared cookers, Electric fans, and LED road and street lighting.
