Decision 1725/QĐ-BCT: National List of Goods Subject to Mandatory Energy Efficiency Testing and Energy Labeling Under the Jurisdiction of the Ministry of Industry and Trade

Decision 1725/QĐ-BCT on the Promulgation of the List of Commodities for Energy Efficiency Inspection and Energy Labeling under the Management Responsibility of the Ministry of Industry and Trade dated July 1, 2024, and effective from the date of signing. This is an important document, requiring relevant enterprises and organizations to promptly update and implement in accordance with this decision.

At the request of the Director of the Department of Energy Efficiency and Sustainable Development, the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MOIT) has issued Decision 1725/QĐ-BCT in 2024 regarding the List of commodities (accompanied by HS codes) for energy efficiency inspection and energy labeling under the management responsibility of the MOIT in the Appendices attached to this Decision, replacing Appendix III of Decision No. 1182/QĐ-BCT.

Based on Decision 1725/QĐ-BCT (2024), commodities for energy efficiency inspection according to Decision 14/2023/QĐ-TTg and Decision 04/2017/QĐ-TTg include: Fluorescent lamps; Electromagnetic ballasts for fluorescent lamps; Refrigerators; Freezers; Commercial refrigerated cabinets; Electric rice cookers; Electric fans; Television receivers; Storage water heaters; Air conditioners; Household washing machines; Photocopiers; Computer monitors; Laptops; Desktop computers; Electric motors; Industrial boilers; Transformers (See detailed HS codes in the appendix).

Decision 1725/QĐ-BCT is effective from the date of signing, which is July 1, 2024.
