5. Important Notes in Importation, Manufacturing, and Business Policies under the Legal Regulations for Coffee Makers in Vietnam

| Important Notes | – Testing and certification must be carried out by a testing and certification organization designated, registered, or recognized by the Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST).
– Domestic enterprises manufacturing or importing stored water heaters in Vietnam, after obtaining conformity certification, must register the declaration of conformity at the local Sub-Department of Standards, Metrology, and Quality (STAMEQ) where the enterprise is registered, before circulating the product in the market. – The Certificate of Conformity is valid for no more than 3 years. The enterprise must retain records for no less than 10 years from the date the last product of the registered type/model was shipped. – Additional requirements may apply to equipment designed for use in vehicles, ships, or aircraft. – Additional requirements may be specified by competent authorities regarding health, occupational safety, water supply, and similar competent bodies. – The connecting mechanism on the base of an appliance without a power cord shall not be considered a socket-outlet. – Instructions must be provided regarding the position of the lid and the normal posture of the user’s hand when holding the appliance’s handle. |
