The growing use of coffee and tea makers across homes, offices, and F&B establishments necessitates increasingly rigorous product quality management. Since these appliances utilize electricity and are in direct contact with water, they pose dual safety risks. Therefore, full and mandatory compliance with the Legal Regulations for Coffee Makers in Vietnam is required before these devices can be legally circulated in the market.

I. What is a Coffee Maker?
Coffee and tea makers are household electrical and electronic devices primarily designed to brew hot beverages by electrically heating water and extracting flavor from coffee or tea. Premium models enhance the experience with advanced features like timers, strength controls, milk frothing, and smart connectivity.
Since these appliances operate using direct electric power to heat water, strict technical conformity is mandatory to ensure consumer safety and product integrity. Consequently, for valid manufacturing, import, and circulation, every coffee/tea maker must fully comply with the Legal Regulations for Coffee Makers in Vietnam, especially the requirements for electrical safety assessment, conformity certification, and public declaration under the national technical standards (QCVN).
