1. Phuc Gia® is Designated for Testing Electrical and Electronic Equipment According to QCVN 4:2009/BKHCN and Amendment 1:2016 QCVN 4:2009/BKHCN
On September 26, 2025, the Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST) issued Decision No. 2899/QD-BKHCN, designating Phuc Gia Inspection Testing Center – Phuc Gia Laboratory Corporation (Phuc Gia®) to carry out electrical safety testing activities for household electrical and electronic products, wires, and cables, in accordance with QCVN 4:2009/BKHCN and Amendment 1:2016 QCVN 4:2009/BKHCN.
On the same day, the Ministry of Science and Technology granted Certificate of Designation No. 398/GCN-BKHCN. Accordingly, Phuc Gia® is authorized to conduct testing activities for the technical criteria concerning Electrical Safety according to QCVN 4:2009/BKHCN and Amendment 1:2016 QCVN 4:2009/BKHCN for household electrical and electronic products, wires, and cables.
Consequently, Phuc Gia® is designated for Testing and Certification According to QCVN 4:2009/BKHCN for 13 electrical and electronic equipment items, including:
- Instant water heaters
- Water heating equipment and storage water heaters
- Hair dryers and other hair-dressing equipment
- Kettles
- Rice cookers
- Electric fans
- Electric irons
- Microwave ovens
- Electric ovens and portable grills
- Wires and cables
- Immersion-type electric water heaters
- Tea/coffee makers
- Hand dryers

2. Phuc Gia® is Authorized for Certification of Electrical and Electronic Equipment According to QCVN 4:2009/BKHCN and Amendment 1:2016 QCVN 4:2009/BKHCN
On September 25, 2025, the Phuc Gia Certification Center – Phuc Gia Laboratory Corporation (Phuc Gia®) was granted the Certificate of Registration for Certification Operations No. 3995/GCN-SKHCN by the Department of Science and Technology. Accordingly, Phuc Gia® is authorized to conduct Certification activities for household electrical and electronic products, wires, and cables, in accordance with QCVN 4:2009/BKHCN and Amendment 1:2016 QCVN 4:2009/BKHCN.
Consequently, Phuc Gia® is authorized for Testing and Certification According to QCVN 4:2009/BKHCN and Amendment 1:2016 QCVN 4:2009/BKHCN for the following 12 electrical and electronic equipment items:
