1. Currently, how many Testing Organizations are designated for LED Light Conformity testing according to QCVN 19:2019/BKHCN in Vietnam?

Entities designated as a Testing Organization for LED Light Conformity according to QCVN 19:2019/BKHCN in Vietnam:

– Phuc Gia Laboratory Corporation (Vietnam) – Full criteria for both stages

(According to Decision No. 2483/QĐ-TĐC dated 25/12/2020) – Stage 1 (EMI, ES)

– On December 13, 2022, the Directorate for Standards, Metrology and Quality – Ministry of Science and Technology issued a Designation Decision for Phuc Gia Lab as a Testing Organization to perform testing activities on electrical safety (ES) and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), Electromagnetic Immunity, and Photobiological Safety for lighting products in accordance with the national technical regulation QCVN 19:2019/BKHCN and current legal regulations related to product and goods quality management under Decision No. 2117/QĐ-TĐC.

Besides the Designation by the Directorate for Standards, Metrology and Quality – Ministry of Science and Technology (according to Decision No. 1951/QĐ-TĐC dated 28/10/2021), the capacity of Phuc Gia Laboratory is also recognized by the Bureau of Accreditation for Conformity Assessment Capacity (AOSC) (according to Decision No. 153/QĐ-AOSC dated 06/09/2021). Accordingly, Phuc Gia Laboratory is a Testing Organization with full capacity, designated to test the full criteria of both stages of QCVN 19:2019/BKHCN.
