Scope of Application

This standard specifies requirements for recessed luminaires intended for use with incandescent lamps, tubular fluorescent lamps, and other discharge lamps having a supply voltage not exceeding 1000V. Compliance with this regulation helps enterprises clearly understand what Electrical Safety is and ensures product quality.

This standard does not apply to air-cooled or liquid-cooled luminaires.
