Scope of Application

Compliance with this regulation helps enterprises clearly understand what Electrical Safety is and ensures product quality. This standard specifies requirements for:

Luminaires for road, street, and other public outdoor lighting applications;
Tunnel lighting luminaires;
Column-integrated luminaires with a minimum total height from the standard ground level of 2.5m; and for use with electrical light sources at supply voltages not exceeding 1000V.

Note: Column-integrated luminaires with a total height less than 2.5m are currently under consideration.
