Phuc Gia® is an organization that provides information and definitions regarding luminous intensity to organizations and enterprises, especially consumers who are interested in luminous intensity. This is considered the most practical and basic information related to a light source. Therefore, to gain more useful information about luminous intensity, please refer to the article below by Phuc Gia®!

What is Luminous Intensity?
Luminous Intensity: Luminous intensity is a fundamental optical quantity used in measuring light source parameters; it is one of the seven basic units of the SI (System International) International System of Units. The seven basic units are: m (meter), kg (kilogram), s (second), A (Ampere), K (Kelvin), mol (mole), and cd (candela).
Luminous intensity is the energy emitted by a light source in a specific direction and is calculated as follows: One candela is the intensity with which a source emits one lumen uniformly into one steradian (solid angle). A 1-candela source will emit 1 lumen over an area of 1m² at a distance of one meter from the center of the light source. It can be seen that the intensity of the light source decreases with distance from the source: 1cd = 1lm/ 1steradian.
A typical candle emits light with a luminous intensity of approximately one candela. If emission in certain directions is blocked by an opaque barrier, the source still has an intensity of about one candela in the directions that are unblocked. Candela means “candle.” Since October 1979, the CIE has introduced a new definition for the candela: The candela is the luminous intensity, in a given direction, of a source that emits monochromatic radiation of frequency: 540.1012 Hz (wavelength λ= 555nm) and that has a radiant intensity in that direction of 1/683W/Sr.
Symbol: I (Abbreviation for the English word: Intensity)
Unit: Cd (candela)
Table of Luminous Intensity for some light sources
| Light Source | Luminous Intensity (Cd) |
| Candle Flame | 0.8 in all directions |
| 40 W Incandescent Lamp | 35 in all directions |
| 300 W Incandescent Lamp with Reflector | 1500 at the center of the beam |
| 2 kW Metal Halide Lamp with Reflector | 14800 in all directions 250000 at the center of the beam |
To represent the distribution of luminous intensity in space, a polar coordinate system is often used, where the origin is the light source and the endpoints are the luminous intensity vectors. In practice, this diagram is represented in a plane or semi-plane by drawing the curve resulting from the intersection of this surface with certain defined meridian planes. For light sources with circular symmetry (rotationally symmetric), only one cut by a meridian plane is sufficient.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
Despite our services being in the high-price segment, why is Phuc Gia® still chosen by enterprises as the leading reliable unit for customs services?
- This is a concern shared by many customers before choosing Phuc Gia® as their Customs Services provider.
- Over the past 10 years, Phuc Gia® has served over 500 large and small Domestic and International Enterprises. More than 90% of the enterprises that have used Phuc Gia®’s Customs Services agree that the quality of the Service is commensurate with the money they invest.
- Customers comment that: “The price the Enterprise pays when using Phuc Gia®’s Customs Services is SIGNIFICANTLY MORE COST-EFFECTIVE compared to the time and expense the Enterprise would incur to independently complete tasks such as: self-arranging product testing; self-researching and preparing dossiers; self-working with relevant ministries and departments to finalize dossiers; self-obtaining Customs Clearance permits…”
- Phuc Gia® commits to optimizing your time, mental effort, physical effort, and money during the Customs Clearance process, as well as MINIMIZING RISKS during the licensing process!
